To Prevent... Or not to Prevent... That is the question...

Hint: It's best to prevent... If your dryer is taking longer than 50 to 60 minutes to dry the clothes, the cause most often, is a venting related problem which can pose a serious fire hazard. Don't delay.... fix it today...

The rubber hoses on a washing machine should be replaced every 5 years. How old are yours? If there is a bubble anywhere on the hose, you are flirting with a flooding disaster. 

 If I am at you house servicing any appliance (dishwasher, stove, etc.) you can add the "Prevent floods 2"  for just $25 to your "bill." Just ask  "Doug can you replace the washer fill hoses while you are here?" I will make it happen for you. Believe me, I've seen floods.... You DO NOT want to go through it!

I will replace up to 10' feet of dryer venting with a flexible vinylized aluminum venting, then vacuum out the combustible dust in your dryer,,, AND... replace the belt! Now this is a smart choice and will give you peace of mind, especially if you have the old white colored dryer venting. (The old white venting  is a fire hazard.)

Prevent Floods 2

Buy the dryer fire prevention, and for an additional $25 Dollars, I  will replace the fill hoses on the washing machine, those old black rubber ones that break ,  turning your basement into a swimming pool, with 5 foot Stainless steel ones. The hoses cost $12 each, that's two for $24 and a Dollar to install them!WOW!  ( That's cheap!)
